We are committed to pioneering solutions in biotechnology and are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, proactive, and highly motivated Executive Assistant to support the CEO’s office in critical operational functions.
The candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business functions, and assisting in critical areas such as procurement, inventory management, HR, and lab administration. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams. The person will be reporting to the CEO.
You will:
- Oversee procurement of lab supplies, office essentials, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Maintain inventory records and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure that lab facilities are well-maintained, support regulatory compliance efforts, and coordinate with scientists and external vendors for equipment servicing and upkeep.
- Work closely with finance, legal, and R&D teams to streamline workflows and optimize administrative efficiency.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professional communication on behalf of the CEO’s office.
- Organize company meetings, events, and team-building activities to foster a collaborative work environment.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, lab management, or operations role, preferably in a biotechnology or life sciences company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse teams and external partners.
- High level of organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in biotech research and laboratory management is preferred.
